Alliance Catholic Credit Union Holds Coat Drive for St. Vincent de Paul

In an effort to keep Southeast Michigan residents warm this winter, Alliance Catholic Credit Union will be holding a month-long coat and winter outer wear drive from Oct. 16 through Nov. 16 at all seven branch locations. Donations will benefit St. Vincent de Paul Detroit that will distribute them to those in need.

Credit Union staff is encouraging individuals to purge their closets of any gently used winter outdoor wear for kids and adults.

“We’re excited to work with an organization like St Vincent de Paul who is doing so much good in the Catholic community,” said Keith Burke, vice-president of Information & Strategic Growth. “Our members always respond generously in service to those less fortunate.”

All slightly used or new coats, winter hats, gloves or mittens, and scarves for children and adults, can be dropped off at any of Alliance Catholic’s seven branch locations:

  • 2305 Monroe St, Dearborn
  • 19219 Allen Rd, Melvindale
  • 912 N Main, Rochester
  • 35353 Dodge Park Rd, Sterling Hts.
  • 9300 Cooper St, Taylor
  • 255 E Maple Rd, Troy
  • 7875 Cooley Lake Rd, West Bloomfield
