On Tuesday, December 22, 2015 Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron served food and clothing to the poor at the Matchan Nutrition Center in Pontiac. The Archbishop hopes to provide a message of hope and encourage Metro Detroiters to remember the true meaning of Christmas by serving those in need.
“Feeding them isn’t going to solve all the problems,” said Vigneron. “But it’s one way to show love and one of the things people need is not just to have food but they need to have to be shared with respect. And that’s a very important thing.”
