The mission of St. Vincent de Paul Dental Clinic is to offer under-served residents of Southeast Michigan who lack insurance, access to affordable basic dental care. The clinic which started with four retired volunteer dentists in May 2010 operated just 4 days a month. The clinic now has a wonderful team of over 40 volunteer dental professionals - dentists, on oral surgeon, dental hygienists, dental assistants and dental students (from University of Michigan & University of Detroit, Mercy Schools of Dentistry) with their faculty; serving needy patients 15 to 17 days a month. Currently the clinic treats adults in need of fillings, extractions or dentures. This well equipped clinic, soon to be expanded, is currently open four to five days a week. Only adults without insurance needing basic dental treatment should contact the clinic for an appointment. Call 313-393-3009 to leave a message.
