Hole in One!

Glen Williams, 46 of Fenton Michigan won $10,000 at the 22nd Annual SVdP Golf Outing at Oakland University’s R&S Sharf course.  Wilson stated that he felt “lucky” as he approached the tee on the 165 yard hole #14.  It was Williams' first ball and first swing of the day that earned him the hole in one, much to his surprise!   “Pure luck, unbelievable,”   said Williams. “I didn't believe it until they pulled the ball out of the hole, I thought they were kidding.  However, with all the fun, I believe the hole in one is nothing compared to sending those kids to camp that means more than anything we do on the golf course.”  The St. Vincent de Paul golf outing raised over $65,000 dollars to send children to Camp Ozanam, which is celebrating 90 years of providing a safe fun camp experience on the shores of Lake Huron to children in need.
