St. Vincent de Paul and Art Van Furniture are partnering on Operation Coat Check, a community campaign across Michigan to collect coats to keep those in need warm this winter.
St. Vincent de Paul is asking individuals to go through their closets and “check” for coats that they no longer wear anymore. From Monday, January 11 through Thursday, February 11, 2016, the public is invited to drop new or slightly used coats for children or adults at any Art Van Location or you can make a credit card donation at here.
“Everyone deserves to have a winter coat to help keep them warm during Michigan’s harsh winter months,” said Gary Van Elslander, president of Art Van Furniture. “We are proud to partner with St. Vincent de Paul on Operation Coat Check to support those in need in our community.”
